Linksys Presents Wireless Router EA7500 With Seamless Roaming

Linksys has launched a new wireless router that is Linksys EA7500. This wireless router offers the 802.11ac wireless connection with MU-MIMO support, as well as a new feature called Seamless Roaming.

A wireless router sometimes cannot reach all parts of the house. To that end, the user usually adds an additional wireless router or wireless extender device to improve their network coverage. But the addition of the network is sometimes also less smooth so that users often have to re-connect when out of reach of the main network.

To overcome this, Linksys EA7500 has Seamless Roaming feature. This feature allows interconnection between the main wireless router with a wireless extender or repeater that supports more seamlessly. Thus, as the user moves out of the wireless router's main range, the connection is instantly taken over by other network devices without the need to reconnect.

The Linksys EA7500 supports dual-band connection with a maximum speed of 1900 Mbps that is claimed to be sufficient to run 4K video streaming and play games seamlessly. To generate more reliable and smooth bandwidth while servicing multiple connections, the wireless router also supports MU-MIMO technology for compatible devices.

In addition, Linksys EA7500 is also compatible with the Linksys Smart WiFi app so users can configure and monitor through mobile apps available on Android and iOS.

Linksys EA7500 is sold at Rp3.849.000. The price is a promotional price bundled with Linksys RE7000 wireless repeater device for Seamless Roaming application.
